What is an Adult Day Health Services Program: A program, licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or cognitively impaired adults. Under clinical supervision, these programs provide preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation services including personal care to program participants. Parker at The Pavilion will offer participants a day setting program consisting of therapeutic services including intergenerational opportunities, free access to the outdoors, an individualized plan of care and supportive services that will be available for the participants and their caregivers. Participants will be able to attend two or more days during the week on a full-day or half-day basis. The goal of the program will be to promote the optimal well-being of participants by providing health-related services in a safe, warm, social and structured environment. Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm Anticipated Opening Date: Spring 2008 Experienced Essential Staff Members will include: § Program Director § Registered Nurse § Social Worker § Recreation Coordinator Who is Eligible to Attend the Program: The program will be open to Parker Home residents, seniors on our Wait List and seniors that reside within the community. What is the Application Process: The application process has not yet been determined. Cost: Typically Adult Day Health Services programs charge a daily fee. Although the price has not yet been determined, Parker at The Pavilion will be competitively priced as compared to other programs and will include a variety of value-added programs, services and amenities that most others won’t offer.
